You get an automatic confirmation email once your payment is received and verified. You can also see the order status in your account. No email after paying? Check your spam folder, then email us a screenshot of the payment at research@sequorapeptides.com and our team will verify it and process the order.
Yes, if it has not shipped yet. Email research@sequorapeptides.com with your order number and the change you need, and we will confirm the updated order. Once an order has shipped, it can no longer be changed. To cancel instead, see How do I cancel my order?
Yes. Laboratories ordering larger quantities can request a quote through Institutional Access. For pricing tiers, email research@sequorapeptides.com with the compounds and quantities you need.
Shipping & Tracking
#When will my order ship, and how long does delivery take?
Orders are processed and dispatched within 2–3 business days after payment is verified. After dispatch, delivery takes about 5–6 business days with Standard Shipping ($10), 2 business days with FedEx 2 Day ($25), or the next business day with UPS Next Day Air ($80). Carrier delays, weather or address problems can make it longer. Full details are in our Shipping Policy.
Tracking can show no movement for a short time after the label is created, until the carrier scans the package. If there is still no update after 1–2 business days, email research@sequorapeptides.com with your order number and we will open a trace with the carrier.
Yes. Orders ship in safe, secure packaging, and the contents are not visible from the outside. Each package goes to the delivery address on your order with tracking.
No. Lyophilized (freeze-dried) peptides tolerate the short time at ambient temperature that shipping takes, and manufacturers routinely ship them this way (Bachem). Store them cold as soon as they arrive; see How should products be stored on arrival?
We ship to all U.S. states and to Canada. We do not currently ship to other countries. Buyers outside the United States are responsible for knowing their own country’s import rules for research chemicals. See our Shipping Policy.
Email research@sequorapeptides.com as soon as possible with your order number and clear photos of the outer box, the packaging and the vials. We will open a claim with the carrier and review your case. See our Refund & Returns Policy for details.
Testing, Purity & COAs
#Does every batch come with a COA, and can I see it before I order?
Yes. Every batch has a third-party Certificate of Analysis (COA) that reports identity by mass spectrometry and purity by HPLC. To see the COA for the batch currently in stock before you order, email research@sequorapeptides.com with the product and strength. For a vial you have received, see Where do I find the COA for my batch? Our Quality & Testing page explains how batches are tested.
Every vial label carries a batch code. Scan the batch code on the label to open the certificate for that batch, or email research@sequorapeptides.com with your order number and the batch number and we will send the matching COA. We recommend keeping the COA with your laboratory records. More on batch numbers is on our Quality & Testing page.
"Third-party tested" means an independent laboratory, not the supplier, runs the tests. A COA is a document issued for each batch. It lists the batch number, each test performed, its acceptance limit and the actual result (FDA/ICH Q7, section 11.4). For a line-by-line walkthrough, read How to read a peptide COA.
Check four things: the batch number matches your vial, the HPLC purity, the mass found by mass spectrometry against the expected molecular weight, and the test date and laboratory. Our guide How to read a peptide COA explains each line with examples.
HPLC purity is the area of the main peptide peak as a share of all peaks detected, usually measured by UV light at 210–220 nm (Bachem). A higher number means fewer related impurities, such as shortened or modified sequences. Which purity is enough depends on the experiment, so compare the value on the batch COA with what your method needs.
#What is the difference between purity and peptide content?
They measure different things (Bachem). Purity is the share of the peptide signal that is the target sequence. Peptide content is the share of the powder's weight that is peptide at all; the rest is water and counter-ions such as acetate or trifluoroacetate (TFA) left from synthesis, so content is often 70–90% (Bachem; Cornish et al., 1999). Peptide content is measured by amino acid analysis (Merck).
Mass spectrometry measures the molecular weight, which is compared with the expected weight of the sequence (Bachem). No single test proves identity on its own, so it is read together with HPLC (Swietlow & Lax, 2004). Each product page lists the expected formula and molecular weight from public databases.
#How do you choose the scientific sources on your pages?
We cite primary literature, public chemical databases and regulatory documents, each with a DOI, PMID or direct link. Read Research Sources & Editorial Standards for how we select and review them.
Move the vials to cold storage as soon as they arrive. Store the sealed vials at −20 °C or colder, dry and away from light. Let a vial reach room temperature before opening it so moisture does not condense on the powder, and avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles. Peptides in solution are much less stable than the dry powder. Our Quality & Testing page covers storage in more detail.
Most lyophilized peptides stay stable for several years when kept frozen and dry; in solution they last much less time (GenScript). Sequences containing cysteine, methionine or tryptophan oxidize more easily, and those with asparagine or glutamine also have shorter shelf lives (Bachem). Check each product page for that compound's storage notes.
Short periods at ambient temperature, such as during shipping, are normal for lyophilized peptides (Bachem). Move the vial to cold storage as soon as possible. Long exposure to heat, humidity or light speeds up degradation.
#Do products arrive as a powder? Do you include solvents or supplies?
Yes. Each compound is supplied as a lyophilized solid in a sealed, labeled vial. Vials do not include solvents or other supplies, and we do not provide preparation or use instructions. Choose handling methods according to your laboratory's validated protocols and the compound's data on its product page. See RUO peptides explained.
A few milligrams of freeze-dried peptide forms a small cake, a thin film or loose powder that can sit on the walls or base of the vial. That is normal. The amount per vial is stated on the label and its batch COA.
#Where can I find a compound's formula, CAS number and references?
Each product page lists the sequence, molecular formula, molecular weight and CAS number, checked against public databases, plus cited references. Category pages and guides such as What are GLP-1 receptor agonists? give the wider research background.
Sizes vary by compound. Each strength has its own product page; where a compound comes in more than one strength, use the strength buttons under the price to switch between them before adding to your cart.
A blend is two separately made and purified peptides freeze-dried together in one vial. Each component keeps its own sequence and is identified separately on the batch COA. See Peptide Blends for the current blends and their components.
The standard method is solid-phase peptide synthesis: amino acids are added one at a time to a chain anchored on a resin bead (Merrifield, 1963; Bachem). The finished chain is cut from the resin, purified by HPLC and freeze-dried. That is why many peptides are supplied as acetate or trifluoroacetate salts (Cornish et al., 1999).
#Why is NAD+ in the catalog if it isn't a peptide?
NAD+ is a dinucleotide coenzyme, not a peptide, so we list it separately under Cellular Cofactors. Its guide, What is NAD+?, explains the difference.
The full policy is on our Refund & Returns Policy page. All sales are final and we do not accept returns, because research materials cannot be resold once they leave our facility. Lost or damaged packages are reviewed case by case after we open a claim with the carrier, and items we sent in error are corrected at no cost.
Email research@sequorapeptides.com right away with your order number and clear photos of the item and its label. Once we verify the claim, we reship the correct item or refund you, as set out in our Refund & Returns Policy.
Email research@sequorapeptides.com with your order number before it ships, and we will cancel it and refund your payment. Orders that have already shipped follow the Refund & Returns Policy. We may also cancel orders ourselves under section 3 of our Terms and Conditions, for example when an order indicates human or animal use.
Approved refunds go back to the original payment method. Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days. You will get an email when the refund is issued.
It means our compounds are sold only for laboratory, in vitro and educational research. They are not for use in humans or animals, or as food, drugs or cosmetics (Terms, section 2). The label comes from FDA labeling rules for laboratory products, which use the statement "For Research Use Only" (21 CFR 809.10(c)(2)(i)). Read RUO peptides explained for more.
Buyers must be at least 18, or 21 where local law requires, must be purchasing for laboratory, in vitro or educational research, and must accept our Terms and Conditions. The full rules are in our Research Use Policy. Laboratories can register through Institutional Access for quotes and documentation.
The rules depend on the compound and on where you are, so this is not legal advice. Several compounds we stock are also active ingredients of approved medicines, while others are not approved for any use; each category page has a Regulatory Status section, for example GLP-1 receptor agonists. A "research use only" label does not by itself make a product exempt from FDA rules: FDA judges a product by how it is actually marketed and used (FDA, 2013 guidance).
No. None of our products is an approved drug, supplement or cosmetic. Some share a name with an approved medicine, but research material is not that medicine, and FDA has warned against products labeled "for research purposes" that are sold for human use (FDA).
#Can you advise on dosing or how to use a compound?
No. We do not give dosing, preparation, administration or effect information. Orders or messages that indicate human or animal use are canceled under section 3 of our Terms and Conditions. Our pages cover identity, testing, storage and published research only.
#Is Sequora a legitimate supplier? How can I check?
Check what any supplier can show you. Every batch is tested by an independent lab and has a COA you can request before you order, cite primary sources for every specification (Research Sources & Editorial Standards), publish our Terms and Conditions and ship every order with tracking. Our guide How to read a peptide COA shows how to check a COA yourself.
Yes. We collect only what we need to verify research eligibility and fulfill your order, use industry-standard encryption, and do not sell your personal data. Details are in our Privacy Policy.
