Research Use Policy

Sequora Peptides sells research use only peptides. This policy sets out what that means, who may buy from us, which uses are prohibited, what every buyer acknowledges at checkout, and when we cancel orders. It applies to every order and every product on this site, and it forms part of our Terms and Conditions.

What “research use only” means

“Research use only” (RUO) means a material is supplied for laboratory research, in vitro testing and educational purposes, and for nothing else. RUO materials are not drugs, supplements, cosmetics or food, and they are not evaluated or approved for use in people or animals. Some compounds we stock share a name with an approved medicine; research material is not that medicine and must not be treated as a substitute for it.

Who may purchase

We sell only to buyers who:

• are at least 18 years old, or 21 where local law requires;
• are purchasing for legitimate laboratory, in vitro or educational research, such as research laboratories, academic and teaching institutions, independent research firms and qualified researchers;
• will ensure the materials are handled only by people trained in safe laboratory practice; and
• accept this policy and our Terms and Conditions.

Laboratories that need quotes, documentation or a verified delivery address can register through Institutional Access. We may ask any buyer for information about their institution or research purpose before we fulfil an order.

Prohibited uses

Our products must not be used, sold or supplied for:

• administration to humans in any form or by any route;
• veterinary use or administration to animals outside an approved research protocol;
• use as, or in, a drug, dietary supplement, cosmetic, food or food additive;
• clinical diagnostics, patient care or any therapeutic purpose;
• resale or redistribution to anyone for the uses above.

Buyers are responsible for complying with all laws that apply to the purchase, handling, storage and disposal of research chemicals where they are located.

Buyer acknowledgment

Before an order can be placed, the buyer must confirm at checkout that they have read and agree to our Terms and Conditions. By placing an order, the buyer acknowledges that:

1. the products are for laboratory research use only and are not for human or veterinary use;
2. they meet the purchaser requirements above;
3. they will not use, sell or supply the products for any prohibited use; and
4. they accept responsibility for safe handling, storage and disposal in line with applicable law.

Order review and our right to cancel

We review orders and messages, and we reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order, at any time before it ships, when:

• an order, account note or message indicates human or animal use, or asks about dosing, mixing, administration or effects;
• the buyer does not meet the purchaser requirements, or cannot provide information we reasonably request;
• we suspect fraud, payment problems or resale for a prohibited use; or
• completing the order would breach applicable law.

When we cancel an order under this policy, payment is returned to the original payment method as described in our Terms and Conditions and Refund & Returns Policy. Accounts linked to prohibited use may be closed and refused future orders.

What we will and will not discuss

We are glad to answer questions about orders, shipping, batch testing, certificates, specifications and storage. We do not provide dosing, preparation, administration or effect information of any kind, and we do not give medical advice. Questions of that kind are not answered and may lead to order cancellation under this policy.
